What are porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers, also called dental veneers or tooth veneers, are a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded to the surface of your teeth to create a more aesthetically pleasing smile.
While porcelain by itself can be brittle, when properly bonded to your natural teeth, veneers are strong and durable.
Generally, people will select porcelain veneers to correct or repair teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped or misaligned. When installed by an experienced professional, porcelain veneers produce a smile that is natural and beautiful.
